A spiral of metal and filler, welded to hold

V-Shaped Metal Winding
Alternating plies of formed V-profile metal strip and soft filler, wound into a spiral and resistance-welded at the start and finish, so the gasket flexes with the flange instead of fighting it.
Metal Options
304, 316, and 321 stainless as standard; Monel, Inconel, and titanium available for corrosive or high-temperature service.
Filler Options
Flexible graphite for general and high-temp service, PTFE where chemical resistance matters more than temperature, mica for extreme heat.
Centering Rings
Available wound-only (CR), with an outer ring (CG), an inner ring (CRIR), or both (CGI) — the ring you need depends on the flange, not the price.
